Agent based modelling for dummies

Our lovely animated film for tech startup Sandtable has just gone live! The extremely clever folk at Sandtable got in touch because, as well as needing a new web presence, they needed help demystifying what they do.

In response, we set about creating an animated film, which not only takes centre stage on their brand spanking new site homepage (also created by us), it can be used as an asset during presentations or passed on to prospective clients.

It’s early days but so far responses to the site and the film have been hugely positive.

Simon Pegg on Loose Women

We completely forgot about this gem until we stumbled across it in the Blend archives earlier this week. Yep that’s right, your eyes don’t deceive you, that’s a hard copy of the digital graphic novel we created for Simon Pegg appearing on Loose Women. You can keep your D&AD’s and your Cannes Lions thanks, surely it doesn’t get much better than this!

As smooth as clockwork

Check out our shiny new teaser trailer for Angelmaker, the latest novel from the ever lovely Nick Harkaway. Seen as Nick is the writer amongst us I think we’ll just hand over to him at this point. Here’s Nick’s latest blog post titled ‘Sometimes things happen which are so ridiculously amazing you don’t really know where to put them’.

Thanks a million Nick, you’ve made our day!

Musical youth

Back in September we were asked to help raise awareness of youth music competition Next BRIT Thing, as well as build a community around their social channels. In addition to a steady stream of great entries, since being appointed we’ve managed to take a few hundred Facebook ‘likes’ to over 21,000 and have increased Twitter followers by over 300%.

The music competition, backed by the Government and all of the major music labels is now in its final stages, but far from over. Our panel of industry experts are busy reviewing the longlist of finalists to select who will perform at regional workshops where they’ll receive invaluable guidance and advice. From here the best performers will progress onto the grand final to be held at the O2 in London in March.

A big thanks to all of the artists who have lent their support along the way, and watch this space to find out who’ll be crowned this years Next BRIT Thing.
